Game Projects
20+ shipped projects exploring systems, tools, and rapid prototyping
Entropy FM
Entropy FM is my long-term passion project, a proving ground where I explore game development as a platform for creative expression and interactive storytelling. Initially developed in Unreal Engine, I have since transitioned to Unity to refine its technical foundation and iterate more efficiently.
Current Status: Rebuilding core systems in Unity, refining combat mechanics, and enhancing worldbuilding. A comprehensive development write-up will be available once the vertical slice is complete.
Rapid Prototyping Projects
Shipped 20+ projects in constrained timeframes (48-hour to 2-week sprints), demonstrating ability to scope appropriately, build reusable systems, and deliver polished results under pressure. Each project involved technical art direction, procedural tool development, and cross-discipline collaboration. Full portfolio available on itch.io. Selected highlights:
The Weight of Gold
Step into the boots of a brave man lost in the vast desert. Transform enemies into precious gold at your shady business partner's shop. Use your loot to power up your throwable concoction and uncover ancient secrets buried beneath the sands.
The Unsummoner
The local necromancer went wild in the crypt and summoned a bunch of undead. You are a janitor, and it is your responsibility to un-summon these summons by summoning weapons of mass destruction.
Shadow Beasts
In a world overtaken by darkness, you, your flashlight, and your lighthouse are the last beacon of hope. Collect supply drops and use light to disintegrate shadow beasts. Whatever you do, do not let the battery die.
A Reel Mystery
You're a fisherman in a cozy forest town. You spend all day by the lake, casting and reeling them in. That is, until someone dumps all their garbage in the lake. Talk to the cute animal folk to puzzle out who may have done it - all while fishing up clues!
Midnight Harvest
A Hybrid TopDown/FPS game. Survive as long as you can against hordes of monsters coming through portals. At your side is an arsenal of plants that you can use as ammo, each with different effects and abilities! Be careful though, your crops aren't always safe.
MassDiGI
During my time at MassDiGI (Massachusetts Digital Games Institute), I contributed to multiple shipped projects that spanned mobile entertainment and applied "serious games." Across these roles I gained hands-on experience in structured pipelines, rapid iteration, and cross-disciplinary teamwork.
Featured Project: Merge Surge
During the summer of 2020, I worked as the Art Lead in a 5-person team to develop and publish the mobile game Merge Surge through MassDigi's Summer Innovation Program. This was a fully remote development cycle, where we designed, iterated, and shipped a polished mobile experience over 12 weeks.
Honorable Mentions
- Bloom Blast (2019) — Programmer intern on a mobile puzzle game. Built a modular level setup system, handled balance tuning, and implemented match animations.
- Triage Medical Simulator (2020) — Artist on a collaboration with Yale University to teach emergency triage. Created 20+ environment props and a mascot character to support training scenarios for first responders.
- Merge Surge (2021) — Continued post-launch support as a collaborator: produced additional enemy types, environment props, and UI assets while working closely with a small distributed team.
